What "red point" means in rock climbing

In rock climbing, a "red point" is when a climber completes a climb from start to finish without falling or resting on the rope. This is different from an "on sight" where a climber successfully completes a climb on their first attempt, without any prior knowledge or beta about the climb. A "red point" is considered a significant achievement, especially for difficult climbs where it may take multiple attempts to complete.
