What "pawn break" means in chess

A pawn break refers to a move that a player makes to create a passageway for one of their pawns to advance, usually by capturing an opponent's pawn. The idea behind a pawn break is to create weaknesses in the opponent's pawn structure and gain control of key squares on the board. Pawn breaks can be risky since they can also create weaknesses in one's own pawn structure, but they can also be crucial for breaking through an opponent's defenses and gaining an advantage on the board.
