What "right field" means in baseball

Right field is one of the three outfield positions in baseball. It refers to the area of the field lying to the right of second base, when facing the pitcher's mound. The player who plays in this position is generally responsible for defending the right side of the outfield and making plays on any balls hit in their direction.
